ECG
The Healthypi Move is designed for convenient and precise cardiac monitoring, offering a three-lead ECG system for superior signal quality compared to standard single-lead wearables. The device records and streams ECG data for 30 seconds before automatically entering sleep mode to optimize battery efficiency. This short-duration monitoring approach ensures quick assessments while preserving energy for prolonged usability. During this period, it also displays the instantaneous heart rate on the screen.

Healthypi Move three lead ECG system
The three-lead ECG system of Healthypi Move
-
Two leads are derived from electrodes on the underside of the device, making wrist-based measurements possible.
-
The third lead is on the stainless steel at the top of the main body of the watch, completing the circuit for enhanced ECG accuracy.
With its three-lead ECG system, energy-efficient operation, and real-time data display, the device offers an effective and convenient approach to cardiac health tracking, making it suitable for both personal and clinical applications.
When NOT to measure ECG
-
Avoid measuring while walking, shaking, or if the user is shivering. Excessive motion can interfere with the sensor’s accuracy.
-
After Physical Activity allow a few minutes for your body to return to a resting state after exercise before taking a measurement.
-
Ensure the device is adequately charged. Low battery levels may affect sensor performance and data transmission.
-
Excessive sweat or dense hair beneath the watch body may interfere with the SpO₂ sensor’s ability to obtain accurate readings. Ensure the skin is dry and clean, and consider repositioning the device if needed.
-
Do not attempt to record an ECG while the device is charging, as this may introduce electrical interference into the signal.
-
Medical Limitations
-
HealthyPi Move cannot detect a heart attack or other acute cardiac events.
-
Do not record an ECG if you are experiencing symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain or tightness, or fainting. Seek immediate medical attention.
-
Do not make any changes to your medication or dosage based on ECG readings or heart rate data from the device. Always consult with your doctor.
-
How to measure ECG
- Tap on the Measure ECG button and it will redirect to the screen where the ECG streaming is shown.
-
Place any two fingers of the other hand on which the watch is not worn over the bazel of the watch as shown in the image.
Warning
